Résumé
Notre travail a souligné que le rapprochement d’une littérature étendue sur le thème central de l’émergence d’industrie et de celui des partenariats permettait de rendre compte, sur de nombreux points, d’une situation de reconfiguration de marchés et potentiellement d’industries, qui est initiée par un leader d’industrie augmenté du poids d’un ensemble de partenariats.
La thèse a montré en retour que des cadres et concepts existants permettaient d’appréhender un certain nombre d’éléments, mais qu’il était toutefois approprié d’en considérer de nouvelles extensions et parfois de préciser certaines notions. Elle a ainsi notamment précisé un contexte de convergence, étendu le concept de « partenariat d’exploration », souligné le rôle des hommes et de leurs capacités créatives, formalisé des types de réseaux aux fonctionnements distincts avec un nouveau type d’acteur ou encore distingué le concept de leadership de plateforme de celui de leadership d’architecture d’industries que nous avons introduit.
Par ailleurs, le travail de thèse a permis de mettre en lumière le rôle clef du leader de l’architecture dans ce processus de reconfiguration. Il souligne qu’un tel processus est possible du fait d’un leader dont les capacités s’étendent plus loin qu’une simple disposition à l’innovation technologique. En effet, au-delà du couplage d’une interface technologique et d’une interface client, ce leader de plateforme s’appuie en parallèle sur une aptitude à élaborer un cadre relationnel dynamique sur une approche de type « partager pour gagner ». Ce faisant, il construit les fondations de son architecture d’industrie.
Notre thèse montre alors comment « la relation » peut aussi, sous condition d’un cadre approprié, être un vecteur susceptible de générer un actif intangible spécifique.
